Closer to God

Yes, it has been a long time since my last blog. But God has done amazing things everyday since then, and even now. Jason and I have a lovely home now, and he has a job that allows him to be home every night. (yea!!) Justin, 2 1/2, is talking up a storm and Caleb, 7 months, is crawling everywhere!! (Trying so hard to keep up with his big brother! :) ) God blesses us each and everyday, he keeps us safe and helps us to overcome our past. To know him is truly an honor, a great privilege! I recently had the joy of joining my Mom to a Beth Moore conference. Well, it was actually a live broadcast, but it was still awesome! I got alot out of it. Many things were answered for me that I didn't even realize needed answering! God had showed me that I was letting Satan come and steal his word from me!
Beth Moore talked about Luke 8:1-15 , the Parable of the Sower, and how to have a 100 fold harvest in our lives. First, we need to Treasure the Wonder, which is God's word. God's word is the truth. 2 Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." Second, this is where my eyes were opened, we need to Protect our Hearts. The Devil will do anything to keep the word of God from having harvest in our lives. When a word comes to us from God, it is ours to keep, not for the Devil to steal. Place your hand over your heart and declare it in Christ Jesus. And the third, Next is the Test. There are two kinds of tests; One is from God, he desires for us to grow in him, he wants to bring goodness in our lives. The other is from Satan, he intends to harm us and bring forth death. God's test is called a trial. He wants to see how much we truly trust and love him. He wants to see if we really believe his word that he gave us! Satan's test is temptation. He wants to see us fail, to stay in our sins, away from God!
There had been many times i had received a word from God, and knew it was for me. But the next thing I knew it didn't seem to have as much promise as it once did. THAT right there is Satan taking God's word from me, and I had no clue! Luke 8:12 " Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved." I am know believing that God has something for me to do, if he didn't than he would have never shown me that Satan is taking his word from me. God is miraculous and wonderful, all powerful and yet full of mercy and forgiveness. I thank him and bring glory and praise to his Name! In Christ Jesus, the Redeemer.

Inspiration, Here?

Where has all the inspiration gone?

It would seem that everywhere you looked today, there is only chaos and destruction, murder and judgement, deceit and pessimism. This world can be very dark and lonesome. It would seem that everyone is against you and you have to fight with everything you got, just to get somewhere in life.
But oh, on the contrary! This world is also filled with peace and renewal, birth and acceptance, truth and optimism! And yes this world can be dark, but if you look to Jesus he will light your pathway. God can give you favor, so those against you will favor you too! Although they probably can't tell you why. Even though God does not promise that his path for you will be easy, he does promise to never forsake you. And if you look to him and have faith in him, he WILL get you through!

The Lord can show you beautiful things that this world easily misses. Inspiration is never far off if you look in the right places.

Just Me

Just a little note of who I am......

I am a mother of a little boy angel of 18 months, and I'm also due December 25th! I am married to one of the most stubborn, but also most loving, man alive today! :) We have been together for four years and married for two. Life together has been a blessing from God! Life is not always prefect, but God is always there seeing us through everything! Everyday I have my family, friends, and loved ones is another day that I am thankful, no matter how bad that day has been.
Well, thats all for now. You'll know more as I post.
